Stolen Dump Truck Recovered

The stolen dump truck has been located and recovered on Jesse Malone Road in the Rustin Community following a phone call by an alert resident to JCSD Reserve Deputy Ryan Walters. Thanks to all who shared our post, followed updates on local news media and kept an eye out for this vehicle.

The Jones County Sheriff's Department is assisting the Jefferson Davis County Sheriff's Department in locating a stolen dump truck.
Information obtained leads authorities to believe the dump truck may have ran out of fuel and been abandoned in or near Wayne County. Anyone with information on the location of this stolen dump truck is asked to call JCSD at 601-425-3147 or Jones County Crime Stoppers at 601-428-STOP (7867).
