Remembering September 11, 2001

09/11/2020

We solemnly remember the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 on this the nineteenth anniversary. Those lost that fateful day and those who continue to be lost due to illnesses and injuries sustained inhabit our prayers.

In the midst of unspeakable horror that day, firefighters, police officers, emergency medical services personnel, and many others rushed to save thousands. Many made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.
The World Trade Center in New York City.
The Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
A lonely field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

We pray God's comfort upon all who continue to suffer from the events of that day. May He be made real in the lives of all who were and continue to be impacted by the murderous intentions of the Islamic terrorists.

We shall never forget those who died, were injured, and who continue to suffer from life-threatening medical conditions. Our thoughts and prayers are with you each day.
