JCSD Corrections Officer Michael Clark Passes Away Unexpectedly

The Jones County Sheriff's Department is profoundly saddened by the sudden passing of JCSD Corrections Officer Michael Clark. Officer Clark was a valued member of our team and as a certified corrections officer served in the Jones County Adult Detention Facility in Central Control.

"Michael was a pleasure to work with and a dedicated member of our correctional team," notes JCSD Warden Abraham McKenzie. Warden McKenzie adds, "Michael's loss is greatly felt by all of our personnel and we offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends. Michael's service was punctuated by his care and compassion for others and his desire to serve."
