On November 27, 2018 Jones County Narcotics Division, along with members of the Investigative Division and Patrol, executed an arrest warrant for Bobby Gardner, 35 of Taylorsville, and a search warrant for the residence on Forest Holifield Road. Upon arrival, deputies encountered several people on the property. William Agee saw law enforcement pulling up and got inside a truck, inside that truck was a gun. Upon investigation it was discovered Agee was a convicted felon. He was taken into custody and charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Paraphernalia, he also has a misdemeanor charge in Smith County. Gardner was taken into custody for two counts of Sale of a Controlled Substance.
While at the residence various drug paraphernalia were discovered as well as marijuana.
Others taken into custody were Donald Popejoy, 50 of Taylorsville, charged with Possession of Paraphernalia; Derrick Moore, 30 of Taylorsville, for Possession of Paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant in Jones County; Tylcetia Blakley, 19 of Taylorsville, for Disorderly Conduct; and Letasca Owens, 40 of Taylorsville for Possession of Marijuana.
With information provided by the investigation at the Forest Holifield, later in the evening Narcotics Investigators went to a residence on Service Road and saw a vehicle Ellisville Police Department was looking for that was believed to have been involved in a commercial burglary. Investigators contacted Ellisville Police Department and spoke with residents at the address. An onsite investigation revealed Blake Cooley, 26 of Soso was in possession of paraphernalia – he was taken into custody. Jennifer Albritton, 32 of Waynesboro, was taken into custody and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
