The Jones County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on Vernice Rushing, 30, who has been reported as missing. She has short, shaved hair and is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. She was last seen on Tuesday on Old Culpepper Road in eastern Jones County wearing a black DeepWell cap, black shirt with "Roll Tide" print, blue jeans, and green and white tennis shoes. Rushing reportedly got into a vehicle (description unknown) with her dog and an unknown woman who was driving. There are reports that the pair may be headed to Johnson City, Tenn. Rushing has a condition that may impair her judgment, family members reported.
