Goodbye 2020 - Welcome 2021

To say the least, the year 2020 at the Jones County Sheriff's Department has been filled with great opportunities, immense challenges, life-altering events, incredible accomplishments, and the building of a professional and dedicated team of law enforcement personnel. Like everyone in law enforcement in America, we faced COVID-19 head-on and kept on responding to calls just as you needed us to. We worked 24/7/365 (366 this Leap Year) to provide you and your family with the quality law enforcement services that you needed and deserved.
It is our great hope that 2021 brings a return to normalcy and a bright future for our county and our country. For those lost in 2020 we mourn, for those born during this tumultuous year we celebrate, and for all who persevered we are thankful. We pray that God blesses us and guides us in 2021.
Please be safe out and thank you for your incredible support in our first year in office. It is an honor to serve you.
