The armed robbery suspect who robbed the Fast Stop on Hwy 84 West in Jones County on Monday afternoon is now in custody. The subject, Jimmy Watson, was located in Covington County and arrested by deputies with the Covington County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff Joe Berlin advises, "We greatly appreciate the Covington County Sheriff's Department for identifying and taking this dangerous armed robber into custody. The suspect vehicle was also seized."

Sheriff Berlin adds, "Additional information on this case will be released as the investigation continues overnight and tomorrow . We are still seeking the two accomplices from the armed robbery and are following up on several leads."
